It's only one hour once a month. Stand with us to say BLACK LIVES MATTER!
Three years ago there were BLM protests everywhere. Every company and nonprofit was issuing a statement about racial justice.
Where are we three years later?
For the past three years, BLMIC has held a rally every month -- join us on May 21st to let Baltimore and beyond know that we have not forgotten. BLACK LIVES MATER!
The Nawal G. Rajeh Peace Camp operates out of the St. Frances Academy Community Center in East Baltimore and serves 55-60 children in a free of cost summer camp. Peace Camp is focused on teaching non-violence, peace education, and positive conflict resolution skill-building. In its upcoming 17th year, the camp employs up to 8 former campers who are now in high school and working in the Baltimore City Summer YouthWorks Program. Six older staff members serve as Senior Counselors. The goal of the Peace Camp is to empower these young members of the community to take up the mantle of peacebuilding on their own, thus turning the effort into a self-sustaining one.
We invite all who come to the BLMIC rally on May 21 to bring a monetary gift of any size to support the Nawal G. Rajeh Peace Camp! If you're unable to come to rally but want to donate online, please click the link below for more information.
